Plant + Maintenance - Schedule Job Cards

The MPM Job Scheduler provides a graphical display that allows you to allocate and view jobs, the people assigned to them and your overall workload. You can use it for normal service jobs, field service jobs and internal jobs.

Technical Tip If you have a wide screen and want to see more information on the Job Scheduler screen, you can use the Wide Job Scheduler instead - refer to "Plant + Maintenance - Wide Schedule Job Cards". You can also assign employees to normal service and field service jobs using the SCHEDULING option on the Job Transaction Processing screen - refer to "Job Transaction Processing - Scheduling".

Using the Job Scheduler, you can:

• view all or selected jobs by day or week at a time
• view diaries for each service technician or view combined work commitments for the whole company
• filter the jobs quickly and easily by different methods such as date, employee, department, area or status
• assign jobs to employees
• move job assignments to different dates and/or times
• move job assignments between employees.

Colours are used to easily identify the status of jobs:

• Red – the job has been assigned to an employee but the status is Unassigned (the employee is not yet aware they have been assigned to the job)
• Green – the job has been assigned to an employee and the status is Assigned (the employee is aware they have been assigned to the job)
• Yellow – the employee has completed the job (the status is Completed).
